Box gutters often require replacing on industrial complexes due to rust which may occur due to several reasons:
- If the box gutters were not given enough fall on the initial installation then the water will not flow as required to the downpipe. This will result in the gutter line causing rust to occur.
- Any debris build up in the box gutters will hold moisture against the gutter. This will result in the gutter rusting prematurely.
- Different types of metals react when water flows off one into the other. This will result in the gutter rusting through a chemical reaction.
