Skylight Replacement

Over time fiberglass skylights lose their gel coating and will deteriorate / break down. As they deteriorate the skylights grow brittle and crack on the screw lines – allowing water penetration to the space below. The amount of light into a unit also decreases substantially over time.

At JSJ Roofing we replace the skylights with 2400 GSM opal Industrial strength skylights. All screw holes from the old skylights are sealed prior to installing the new skylight to ensure that no water penetration can occur if the new screws do not penetrate directly through the original holes.
